Eric J. Guidi, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon serving as the Co-Director of RegenMD, the regenerative medicine practice at Metro Orthopedics & Sports Therapy in Silver Spring, Maryland.

For over 25 years, Dr. Guidi has practiced in orthopedics and sports medicine, becoming a well-known expert in regenerative sports medicine. Besides sports medicine, Dr. Guidi’s areas of interest and expertise include shoulders and elbows, as well as platelet-rich plasma and stem cell therapies.

Dr. Guidi earned his undergraduate degree at Bucknell University before completing his medical degree at Albany Medical College of Union University. He completed his internship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and did his orthopedic residency at the Hospital of Joint Diseases in New York City. Dr. Guidi also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Georgetown University’s Arlington Hospital and the Virginia Sports Medicine Institute.
