Nicole Kabia, PT, DPT

Nicole Kabia is a licensed physical therapist that has been practicing since 2006. She gained her bachelor’s in science from George Mason University including studying abroad at Oxford University with a focus on comparing U.S and U.K healthcare systems. Nicole, then had the opportunity to attend Duke University, and gained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During her studies, Nicole participated in developing a research study that investigated the effects of Mindful Walking on lowering fall risks in the elderly population. Nicole, along with four collogues, helped to develop an outreach program at Duke University to educate minority youth about physical therapy as a career option. She gained recognition and scholarships for her participation in developing the outreach services by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Duke University Physical Therapy Program.

Currently, Nicole is continuing her education with the Manual Therapy Institute and plans on pursuing her fellowship certification in manual therapy. Nicole has been an APTA member since 2003 and participates orthopedic and minority sections of the APTA.



Jennifer Hine, M.P.T.

Jennifer Hine, M.P.T.

Jennifer Hine, MPT, has been working as a licensed Physical Therapist since 1995. In 1991, she graduated from The George Washington University with a B.S. degree in Kinesiology. She continued her education at The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science where she received her masters in Physical Therapy and B.S. in Health Sciences. Her work experience includes one year (1995) at Suburban Hospital in acute care and outpatient physical therapy. In 1996, she began working for M.O.S.T. She taught injury and first aid to MSI soccer coaches. She developed osteoporosis education and screening clinics and provided nutrition/injury prevention for local Marvateen Gymnastics. Her specialties include lower extremity biomechanical analysis and orthotic fabrication. In addition, she became an instructor for the NSPA and coached cross-country and track and field for Georgetown Visitation High School. From 2000-2004, Jennifer split her time and worked at the National Rehabilitation Hospital as the clinical coordinator for outpatient therapy. She helped develop the "Runner's Clinic" and managed "The Foot and Ankle Clinic-Physical Therapy" at the Georgetown University Hospital. In 2005, Jennifer rejoined M.O.S.T. on a primary basis until the present.

Jen currently works with a myriad of athletes from high school and college to the professional/olympic levels. She continues to be rewarded daily by helping people in all walks of life regain their physical well-being.



Shweta Gada, PT, DPT

Shweta Gada, PT, DPT

Shweta Gada graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May, 2009 from Drexel University, Philadelphia. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology in December, 2005 at University of Maryland, College Park. As part of her continuing education, she plans to pursue specialized certifications in Hand Therapy (C.H.T) and Orthopedics (O.C.S). Her prior work experience includes Holy Cross Hospital (Apr’07 – June 07), Franklin Square Hospital (Oct’ 07 – Dec’ 07), John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (Aug’08 – Oct’ 08) and Rehabilitation Services of Greater Washington (Jan’09 – Apr’09).

She has experience treating a variety of patient populations and injuries such as Sports and Orthopedics, Acute care, Rehabilitation, Burns, Lymphedema and Geriatrics. Shweta has served as a Volunteer and Teaching Assistant for students working with Veterans, Developmentally Challenged, Foreign Born and Community seniors in the Adult Health and Developmental Program in University of MD, College Park (Jan’05 – Apr’06)
